Wire Shaft Forming Machine

Our Model 85 Wire Shaft Machine is the ultimate wire former for all lure manufacturers. The machine creates perfect closed wrapped eyelets (we call them type ’A’) from a straight wire shaft. No pre-bends or preparation is necessary. Simply insert the end of a plain wire shaft into the shaft machine, press a foot pedal and you have a finished eyelet in seconds. The Model 85 even allows you to include a split ring or swivel within the eyelet being formed.

Other features important to speed and efficiency include less than 1/8 inch clearance needed below the eyelet, adjustable tail or wrap lengths and a positive ejection of the finished part. The machine utilizes high-efficiency air cylinders with electronic position sensors and a controlling computer. For moderate to high production of most types of spinning lures, this high-efficiency forming machine is in a league by itself.

Since pin diameters and clearances vary according to wire size, please specify the range of wire diameters you wish to use. Additional pins and fixtures are available to convert the unit to other wire diameters.
